I ordered a couple of tapes for my labelling machine, from Amazon a couple of days ago.

That’s them in the first picture, alongside a pen… to give a sense of scale.

Small enough to fit through the letter box in a jiffy bag, no?

Well, no, apparently not. The second picture shows the box that they actually came in.

Come on Amazon, we’re not going to save the planet this way, are we?

‘and they want to deliver parcels by drone. How effing big are their drones. Just hope they are not run on diesel.

To be fair, as big as it was, it was very light!

Wrapped properly, that would have fitted through your letterbox… maybe.

  1. I love the Amazon Overpackaging Department. They work hard to earn their productivity bonus, obv.

I wonder if their loved ones get disappointed at Christmas, after being handed a large, wrapped present.

  2. Yes, but delivery men need to keep their jobs, Masher. It’s all about balance. Please use the box for sending a thank you letter back to our global, online retailer.

I would, but it won’t fit in our post box, Jules.
