Dooduh doodoo

I’m not one for believing in the paranormal or religion.

I don’t believe in ghosts or god.
Astrology is bunkum.
Telekinesis is fake and telepathy is bogus.

That’s my belief and I’m sticking to it.

But sometimes, things can happen that make you question your belief.   For example…

About six months ago, I took a drive up north to pick up a piece of test equipment. The chap who was in possession of it lived in Yorkshire somewhere and so we met at a McDonalds, which was at a suitable halfway point.

We’ll call him Andy… because that’s his name. We’d never met before – to my knowledge – but he was a nice enough bloke and we chatted briefly over a cup of McCoffee before saying our goodbyes and going our separate ways.

I never spoke to him again or gave him another thought.

Until today. I was sitting at a computer terminal at work, doing a very mundane online course, when, for no reason whatsoever, his name popped into my head and I remembered our meeting. I don’t know why that should be, but I didn’t give it any further consideration.

No word of a lie, less than five minutes later, my phone rang. It was Andy.

Prefering the non-spooky explanation, I’m putting it down to just serendipitous happen-stance.

But, it makes you wonder, doesn’t it?

Was it Andy who said that?

    Nope, that was Mr Pewty.

That’s so spooky… there must be some sort of scientific , brain connection like tangible forces or something. A quantum physics thing. I think you should ask Andy.

You have had and blogged about a number of these ‘events’. Have you considered that you might be… psychic? Of course, you’d have to believe in it first, but… well.. this is getting to be a bit of a habit.
