Some years ago, I started writing a children’s story.

Burning those candles
I’ve been all over the place this week, it seems. And I’m tired, so goddamned tired.
I had three days of nightwork oop north at the beginning of the week. Nightwork isn’t usually a problem for me, but I do struggle to sleep during the day. This week, for some reason, moreso than usual. [...]
